Hydraulic Oil: RPL-W Series

Series Range:

• RPL-111W • RPL-113W
• RPL-112W • RPL-114W

Product Description:

The RPL-W series is a semi-synthetic hydraulic oil formulated using highly refined, hydro-treated paraffin base oils and synthetic PAO fluids providing excellent overall performance and a high viscosity index that will allow it to out-perform traditional hydraulic oils. They are blended to meet the toughest requirements of major manufacturers and users of hydraulic equipment. The specialized additive package allows for use in severe hydraulic systems including axial and radial piston pumps, as well as vane and gear pump systems operating at high loads, speeds and temperatures.

The RPL-W oils contain a shear stable tackifier for extra-adhesion which prevents drips and leakage including worn seals. They are multi-grade formulations to ensure that proper viscosity is maintained under changing operating and climate temperatures. The high viscosity index provides excellent protection, maintaining high film strength under a large range of changing temperature conditions.

The RPL-W oils also provide superior friction reduction which results in lower operating temperatures and reduced power consumption under severe loads. Special anti-wear additives reduce wear in systems operating at high loads, speeds and temperatures such as hydraulic systems using axial and radial pumps.

Features and Benefits:

• High Viscosity Indexes ensuring proper viscosity over a wide change in temperature

• Excellent rust and corrosion protection including steel, copper, brass and bronze

• High temperature oxidation and thermal stability

• Superior anti-wear properties

• Exceptional demulsibility; separates readily from water

• Excellent film strength

• Non-foaming

• Long drain intervals

• Non-leak formula prevents drips and leakage

Method of Application:

No special precautions are required. Follow regular maintenance instructions as provided with original equipment. Although the RPL-W hydraulic oils are compatible with conventional oils, it is recommended to thoroughly drain and clean systems prior to switching over. Selection of the correct lubricant viscosity is based on the requirements of the applications.

All RPL-W hydraulic oils meet or exceed the performance requirements of:

• Denison HF-0 and HF-2
• Vickers industrial and mobile applications
• Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-70
• Sperry Vickers 1-286-S
