Chain Oil: RPL-CR1000

Product Description:

The RPL-CR1000 is a semi-synthetic, viscous heavy-duty, metallic chain lubricant used in power transmission applications, especially where operating conditions involve severe exposure to water, weather, dirt or other corrosive contaminates. It is formulated using highly refined, hydro-treated paraffin base oils and synthetic PAO fluids providing excellent overall performance and a high viscosity index that will allow it to out-perform traditional chain oils.

RPL-CR1000 is a non-oily fluids containing sub-micron Y-sized particles of molybdenum disulfide (MoS²) for extreme pressure and anti-wear protection. It penetrates to the inner sections of the chain and leaves the outer surfaces dry, especially the parts that are most subjected to wear including pins, bushings and rollers. The outer surfaces stay free of sticky coatings that attract and trap dirt, grit, powders and other contaminants.

The RPL-CR1000 has a unique additive system that ensures long lubricant life, elimination of rust and corrosion, and maximum chain cleanliness. It cuts through pre-existing rust to restore free movement in otherwise undamaged chains.  It is effective in both fresh and salt-water environments and can be applied by brush, bath or automatic systems.

No special precautions are required. RPL-CR1000 chain oil may be applied using mechanical and manual lube systems, is fully compatible with other lubricants and lubricating systems, and will reduce lubricant usage to a minimum while still offering superior protection and a long-lasting film of exceptional tenacity.
