Open Gear and Bearing Grease: RPL-321

Product Description:

RPL-321 open gear grease is manufactured using a a high viscosity paraffin base oil, an aluminum complex thickener and a unique blend of special polymers including colloidal copper and bronze metallic lubricating solids which refurbishes worn surfaces by filling uneven surfaces in the metal. The resulting product is a tacky, tough grease with a tenacious lubricating film that offers complete protection for bearings, open and semi-enclosed gears.  The metallic solids helps reduce wear by preventing metal-to-metal contact and result in smoother and quieter operation.

The RPL-321 is 100% lubricant. It is free of all fillers such as textile fibers and/or asphalt materials that are sometimes present in lesser gear greases. The RPL-321 will cling to all types of surfaces, it will not drip, run out, or fling-off even at high speeds. It is self-healing and self-carrying so it can be quickly applied to one gear tooth and it will carry itself through the entire gear train. It is resistant to melting and chipping-off under load.
 
Typical uses include a wide range of open and semi-enclosed gear and bearing applications including printing presses, construction, forestry and mining equipment, railcars and precision equipment.
