Chemically Inert PFPE
Food Grade Grease: RPL-CPX770

Product Description:

RPL-CPX770 PFPE lubricating grease is the latest in long lasting, chemically inert, non-toxic lubrication. It is blended using 100% Perfluoropolyether base oils composed of carbon, fluorine, and oxygen combined with highest quality additive and thickened with Polytetrafluroroethylene (PFPE) polymer that enhances the frictional and lubricating properties of the Perfluoropolyether fluid.

RPL-CPX770 has a high viscosity index (VI) which results in lower viscosity at low temperatures and higher viscosity at high temperatures. It will resist viscosity loss as a result of mechanical shearing, will provide excellent lubricity, and is thermo-oxidatively stable at over 260ºC (500ºF).

RPL-CPX770 is safe, non-toxic, nonflammable, chemically inert with any material and, unlike most high temperature bearing greases that require frequent purging with new grease to prevent bearing failure, it lubricates at high temperature without carbonizing.

Typical applications include industrial bearings and gears operating over a wide temperature range, especially where high oil temperatures result in increased maintenance costs for parts replacement, cleaning and oil changeover. It will enable superior lubrication where chemical and water contamination is severe and harsh. Excellent for sealed for life bearing applications. Commonly used in sealing O-rings and valves in pumping systems. It is is compatible with conventional petroleum gear oils / greases and most any design material.
