Food Grade Oil:
RPL-NTO Series
The RPL-NTO series is formulated from a selection of
premium water-white, non-toxic, food-grade oils and high
quality additive treatments that provide excellent
anti-wear, rust and corrosion protection, high oxidation
resistance, strong anti-foam properties and good water
separation.
These products are clear, biologically inert, and
manufactured in conformance with NSF International
guidelines and are fully compliant with Canadian Food
Inspection Agency requirements for use where incidental
contact is possible under Sections 21 CFR 178.3570 and
774.1 D78.
The RPL-NTO oils are typically designed for use in
high-pressure hydraulic systems, circulating systems,
airlines, compressors and light to medium-duty gearbox
applications in a variety of food, beverage and
pharmaceutical applications. In wet conditions or
whenever particulate infiltration is unavoidable, these
oils will continue to provide an excellent level of
performance and protection for all food grade
applications including bearings, chains, slides,
spindles, pumps and compressors.
Typical industries that utilize these types of
food-grade lubricants include: pharmaceutical
applications, cosmetic care, meat and poultry
processing, beverage plants, breweries, canneries
(fruit, vegetables, seafood), sugar and confectionary
plants, grain processing, bakeries and pet food
products.

No special handling precautions are required. Follow regular
maintenance instructions as provided with original
equipment. Although the RPL-NTO series food grade oils are
compatible with conventional oils, it is recommended to
thoroughly drain and clean systems prior to switching over.
Once switched, the RPL-NTO oils typically extend lube
intervals up to at least 3 times conventional lubricants and
often more. It is recommended that oil drain intervals be
established by monitoring the oil condition with lubricant
analysis to be certain.
Detailed documentation is available upon request for
specific machines; in particular, pharmaceutical equipment
including tablet presses.
