High Temperature Grease: RPL-702 (TeflonŽ PTFE)

Product Description:

RPL-702 is a high temperature grease manufactured using a unique sodium complex thickener and a special synthetic ester fluid for superior oxidation and thermal stability. This results in extended lubrication intervals at high temperatures without any resulting hard, abrasive or sludge-like residues.

RPL-702 contains TeflonŽ PTFE solid additives, a thermoplastic fluoropolymer compound with non-stick properties and extremely low coefficients of friction resulting in lower power consumption for suitable applications. It will withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 295°C / 560°F.

Typical applications include a wide range of fan and blower bearings, bakery, paint, kiln oven and conveyor bearings, and tender frame ovens.

Method of Application:

No special handling precautions are required. Follow regular maintenance instructions as provided with original equipment but please note that RPL-702 contain esters which may not be fully compatible with all materials and are not recommended for certain types of seals, paints and plastics.
