Food Grade Grease:
RPL-NTG1 Series
The RPL-NTG1 Series of food grade grease is designed for
a wide range of general and multi-purpose applications
in a wide temperature range. The series is formulated
using a high performance 100% synthetic base oil and an
aluminum complex thickener to ensure maximum lubricity
and adhesive characteristics even when subjected to
excessive heat and abnormal humidity conditions.
The RPL-NTG1 series has excellent anti-wear and EP
protection. It also contains a tackifier which provides
for extra-adhesion and resists fling-off in higher speed
applications and provides for added water repulsion. It
has excellent temperature stability up to 230°C (450°F)
and the clear colour eliminates the possibility of
staining in the case of incidental contact. It has a
high V.I. and contains Teflon® which allows for
excellent oxidation stability and a low coefficient of
friction. This product is highly effective in a wide
range of applications.
The RPL-NTG1 Series is recommended for use where the
high performance of a grease combined with edible purity
is required. They are clear, biologically inert, and
manufactured in conformance with NSF International
guidelines and are fully compliant with Canadian Food
Inspection Agency requirements for use where incidental
contact is possible under Sections 21 CFR 178.3570 and
774.1 D78.
Typical applications include bearings and open surfaces
that are exposed to water and fluids including cam
tracks, followers, slides, gears and wherever there is a
possibility of incidental food contact. Typical
industries that utilize this product include a range of
pharmaceutical applications, cosmetics, meat and poultry
processing, beverage manufacturing, breweries, canneries
(fruit, vegetables, seafood), sugar and confectionary
plants, grain processing, bakeries and pet food
products.
