Food Grade Grease:
RPL-NTG-2HT
The RPL-NTG-2HT food grade grease is clear in colour and
formulated using a synthetic PAO base fluid with a high
V.I. and thickened with Aluminum Complex for superior
high temperature performance. It has a low pour point,
excellent thermal and oxidation stability, and is
resistant to extreme water conditions. It has good
mechanical stability that will not melt or run-out under
very intense operating conditions and high temperatures.
RPL-NTG-2HT has excellent EP properties and it contains
a tackifier for extra-adhesive properties that resists
fling-off. It is not affected by mild acid, alkali or
salt environments. It offers excellent rust and
corrosion protection for medium to high-speed
applications and is recommended for use where extreme
high temperature performance combined with edible purity
is required. It is manufactured in conformance with NSF
International guidelines and is fully compliant with
Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements for use
where incidental contact is possible under Sections 21
CFR 178.3570 and 774.1 D78.
Typical applications include bearings, grease-lubricated
gears, cams and slides, pumps, food mixers, freezers,
chillers, refrigeration units, bottlers, canners,
packagers, fillers, wrappers and tablet/capsule presses.
It is used in a wide range of industries including meat
and poultry processing, beverage plants, breweries,
canneries (fruit, vegetables, seafood), sugar and
confectionary products, grain products, bakeries, fats
and oils processing, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics,
personal care and pet food products.
