Food Grade Grease: RPL-NTG1/GR0

Product Description:

The RPL-NTG1/GR0 grease is a NLGI 0 food grade grease. It is designed to offer the same type of protection as the NTG-GR1 Series but with a mineral base oil instead of 100% synthetic, and it is white in colour rather than clear. It has good anti-wear and EP protection but with a very soft consistency that makes it very useful for pump delivery systems. It is formulated to provide mechanical stability and solid performance in a wide range of temperature conditions. It has a complex additive system which is very good for repelling water, even under moderate to high-pressure situations.

RPL-NTG1/GR0 is recommended for use in certain applications where the performance of a very soft grease combined with edible purity is required. It exhibits excellent pumpability even at low temperatures. It is clear, biologically inert, and manufactured in conformance with NSF International guidelines. It is fully compliant with Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements for use where incidental contact is possible under Sections 21 CFR 178.3570 and 774.1 D78.

Typical applications include bearings and open surfaces that are exposed to water and fluids including cam tracks, followers, slides, gears and wherever there is a possibility of incidental food contact. Typical industries that utilize this product include a range of pharmaceutical applications, cosmetics, meat and poultry processing, beverage manufacturing, breweries, canneries (fruit, vegetables, seafood), sugar and confectionary plants, grain processing, bakeries and pet food products.

Method of Application:

No special handling precautions are required. Follow regular maintenance instructions as provided with original equipment.
