Food Grade Grease:
RPL-NTG-2LT
The RPL-NTG-2LT food grade grease is off-white in colour
and formulated using a synthetic PAO base fluid with a
high V.I. and thickened with an organoclay gel system.
It has an extremely low pour point at -67°C (-90°F). It
has good mechanical stability and will not melt or
run-out under very low operating conditions and
temperatures. It has excellent water resistance.
RPL-NTG-2LT has good EP properties and excellent
oxidation stability for long lasting lubrication. It
contains a tackifier for extra-adhesive properties and
resists fling-off. It is not affected by mild acid,
alkali or salt environments. It offers good rust and
corrosion protection for medium to high-speed
applications and is recommended for use where extreme
low temperature performance combined with edible purity
is required. It is manufactured in conformance with NSF
International guidelines and is fully compliant with
Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements for use
where incidental contact is possible under Sections 21
CFR 178.3570 and 774.1 D78.
Typical applications include bearings, grease-lubricated
gears, cams and slides, pumps, food mixers, freezers,
chillers, refrigeration units, bottlers, canners,
packagers, fillers, wrappers and tablet/capsule presses.
It is used in a wide range of industries including meat
and poultry processing, beverage plants, breweries,
canneries (fruit, vegetables, seafood), sugar and
confectionary products, grain products, bakeries, fats
and oils processing, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics,
personal care and pet food products.
